Explore the beautiful Prior Park and take in the show-stopping Palladian bridge. This is a relaxed and nature-filled way to ease yourself into the city of Bath after enjoying most of a jam-packed Freshers’ Week.
This event is free to attend and open to all incoming freshers. You will however need to sign up for a FREE ticket in advance due to capacity restrictions. Sign up will open on Monday 1 September. Your free ticket will be sent to you via email as a QR code, please make sure you bring this with you. You may also be required to check in upon arrival so please bring your student card with you.
Important
Please wear sensible footwear and bring a drink of water with you, there is a lot of walking involved in this event. Please be aware of the weather and bring a raincoat if needed.
Accessibility Information – What can I expect from this event?
This event will involve meeting Freshers’ Week Captains to join them on a bus journey to Prior Park on the Number 2 First Bus service. While tickets are limited for this event, there may be other groups present at Prior Park as it is a National Trust site and open to the public. Once you arrive at the bus stop it is a short walk into Prior Park. You will be free to explore the Park separate from the captains but will need to meet them at the entrance at the end of the visit to ensure they can account for every attendee and make the bus journey back.
There is a tea cabin on-site open 10:00-16:00.
