On Wednesday 4th October we'll be heading into town for a relaxed paddle on the Avon followed by a BBQ. This event is welcome to all, so you don't have to be a member.
The paddle and BBQ will be the perfect time to meet people as well as a get a taste of what the club has to offer!
We'll be meeting outside the library at 14:00 before walking down to the boathouse (keep your eyes peeled for a group holding paddles). Otherwise, we'll be at the boathouse at 14:30 (The Old Organ Factory, Cleveland Cotts, Bath BA1 5DD, no parking available).
The BBQ will cost £5 however the paddle is free! We will be going on a pub crawl later in the evening after the BBQ as well. Card only.
For the river session bring some clothes you’re happy to get wet in, including some old trainers or similar. Make sure you have some dry, warm clothes and a towel for afterwards.
Please make sure you have completed a swim test at one of our taster sessions if you would like to paddle, if you haven't you won’t be able to go on the paddle, but you can still join us for the BBQ afterwards.
