We have our enchanting annual Winter Ball coming up very soon, hosted by University of Bath Latin and Ballroom Club, so grab your dance shoes and dance the night away with us...this is one of the biggest events of the year for university dancing and an event not to be missed!

What? In a nutshell, it’s an evening filled with Latin and Ballroom dancing, a professional Latin 5-dance performance by Richard Still & Morgan Hemphill, and low-priced drinks, including our BULB signature cocktail!
Fun dances:
Music will be playing throughout the night, covering all 10 styles of dance and focusing on the main 4 dances: Waltz, Cha, Quickstep and Jive. The first waltz will be at 20:00. Throughout the night, there will be fun events – including Inter-Varsity Viennese Waltz, the infamous Imitation Paso and 3-way rumba (who doesn’t love this one?!) ...with prizes to compete for! Other fun dances such as Latin Beat, Macarena and Cheeseburger will be included, too!
Professional demo couple:
5 Times UK Open Ten Dance Champions Richard Still and Morgan Hemphill will be performing a Latin 5-dance especially for us from 21:30 until 21:55. Richard & Morgan have some incredible achievements – take a quick glance at their website if interested: https://www.richardandmorgan.com/
Drinks:
A cash bar (one of the cheapest yet best quality in the area!) opens at 19:30. They accept both cash and card payments. Available will be:
- Wine
- Lager including Peroni
- Spirits with mixers
- Shots
- Cocktails including French Martinis (vodka, raspberry, pineapple juice, froth)
- Prosecco (the same price as the wine – considerably cheaper than most events!)
- Prosecco with passion fruit
- Non-alcoholic soft drinks.
To celebrate the end of the semester in style, BULB has created its own signature cocktail named The Cuban Break. This specially-designed cocktail will be coloured blue to represent Bath and it’ll contain vodka, pineapple juice and cranberry!

An experienced photographer will be there to capture the unforgettable moments of the event.
Party favours:
A token will be handed out to each guest at midnight when the event ends – this will be kept a surprise…but it does include glitter and create a wintery atmosphere!
