SPLASH is the Spring Leisure And Sports Huddle, organized by the Bath Area Malaysian and Singaporean Association (BAMSA). We aim to bring together Malaysians, Singaporean and Bruneian students in the UK through athletic spirit by making use of the world-class facilities made available at the Sports Training Village (STV) here in the University of Bath.

Home to Britain’s top athletes, the STV boasts a history of excellence in the past Olympics and Paralympics (click). More than just this, it serves as a main training camp for numerous countries’ top athletes. Malaysia’s national hero, Datuk Lee Chong Wei trained here to prepare himself for the past two Olympics earning him a silver medal in both. We now extend an invitation to all our friends across the UK to join the ranks of many renowned athletes from all over the world by participating in this one-of-a-kind event.

The City of Bath itself has much to offer. A UNESCO World Heritage site, it enthralls visitors from all over the globe with its stunning edifices and splendid landscapes with a culture steeped in history dating back over thousands of years. The organizing committee has wrangled significant discounts for your benefit. Marvel at Georgian architecture at a fraction of the cost!

All this and so much more coming your way on the 9th of March 2013. Save the date, and we will see you then!

Much #BAMSALove,
The SPLASH Committee
