Our sponsors, the University of Law, have invited Law Soc members to attend an in-person event in their Bristol Campus.
University of Law invite you to their Solicitor Series session, on their Bristol Campus. The event will be taking place on Wednesday 23rd November 2022 between 15:00-18:00.
The event is titled “Discover Your Type of Law” and will include talks from University of Law academic team, a panel of professionals from local law firms and an opportunity to network with firms and will help students focus on the following topics:
• Breaking down the differences and exploring the nature of these types of law;
• Focusing on what a typical day looks like within these different types of law and the type of work you could get involved in;
• Experience being a solicitor with a task to help you develop your understanding of the role;
• Ask questions to a panel of Solicitors who will give practical advice on obtaining a training contract or qualifying work experience, and life during practice.
