Morgan is a bright, intelligent and confident young man, he greatly enjoys talking to people and has a deep love of animals and computer games. He also likes cycling, reading, writing, story books, drawing and going on holidays. He lives with his parents and his younger brother between Bath and Bristol.
Morgan has a diagnosis of autism and of PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance) and we are looking for somebody to spend time with him and help him to get out and about more, and with his social skills.
Although relevant experience is desirable, we are happy to consider candidates without experience if they are a good fit with Morgan.
Main Duties:
Looking after and being a companion to Morgan Going for walks with Morgan and other outdoor activities.
Helping with social skills.
Building a trusted relationship with Morgan
General hanging out!
No personal care is required.
Hours
Term time:
3.5 hours a week at the weekend
1.5 hours a week after school
School holidays:
9 hours a week

Ability to get to the role (located on a bus route between Bristol and Bath)
DBS check required
