An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and energetic Attractions Assistants to join our team for the Autumn/Winter season. You will be part of the front line team ensuring guests have an unforgettable time by delivering an efficient, friendly and engaging service.
What will this role of Attractions Assistant entail?
Reporting to the Attractions Supervisor, as an Attractions Assistant you’ll operate our range of exciting attractions, ranging from Rockin’ Rhino, Adventure Castle, to marshalling events, costume characters and giraffe feeding.
Key duties will include:
To provide a Guest focused service at all times ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of the Longleat brand guidelines.
Work in a responsible and safe manner at all times adhering to Health & Safety, safe working practices and Company Policies and Procedures.
Follow all essential Health & Safety procedures for all attractions as trained.
Take full responsibility for operating our ride in line with HSE Guidelines and Responsibilities.
To be responsible for the security and accounting of all moneys handled in the course of employment.
To be responsible for the cleanliness and daily operational standards of the attractions they are assigned to.
Pro-actively handling visitor queries and complaints.
To be able to work on all seasonal attractions including costume characters, elves at Christmas Grotto etc.
Support with operation and marshalling of Park Events throughout the year.
What will I need to be considered for this Attractions Assistant vacancy?
Excellent Enthusiasm and energy.
Strong communication skills with a keen, positive and friendly nature.
Ability to work under pressure, and to bring a good measure of energy to the job.
Experience in Customer Services or in interfacing with customers is an advantage.
Due to safety critical aspects of this role you must be over 18 years of age.
Flexibility of working hours, and weekend and Bank Holiday working are essential for this role.

As an attractions assistant you’ll receive a pay rate that meets National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage, with increased future earning potential as part of our development programme, in addition to a range of attractive benefits that include;

Contracts available for immediate starts and starts from the 25th October.
You’ll be employed on a fixed term contract ending 3rd January 2022, with working hours to vary over a 7 day rota basis, including weekends, evening and bank holidays as required. Hours will vary in accordance with opening times.
