Hello there! We're The Drawing Rooms (known as TDR), and we're a well established piano bar and party venue in central Bath. We've been entertaining guests since 2018 and have become a cornerstone of the Bath party scene with our very unique blend of piano, karaoke and general night time fun.

We are currently looking for outgoing and enthusiastic people to come and join an established team (some of whom joined via an SU ad just like this one, and will most likely be interviewing you/telling you what it's like to work here).

We are recruiting for both bar and floor staff, and are ideally looking for people with experience in a high volume environment - if you're looking for bar work then we're after people who know their way around a speed rail, and have cocktail experience. For floor work enthusiasm is more important than experience but you need to be able to think fast, and have lots of stamina and energy as we're a busy venue. Either way you'll need to be prepared to do things the TDR way, as we're all about giving all our guests an amazing experience.

We do skill up all our employees into both bar and floor service, but at the same time we would prefer it if you had a preference to do one or the other - we find our best floor people often tend to be creative types (drama students etc) and our bar staff tend to be slightly more analytical types (lots of scientists!).

In return we can offer £12.50 an hour plus service charge, which tends to be around £2 an hour extra. We also run a rolled up holiday pay system, so you get your holiday pay paid out every payday (we think it's a much better way of doing things than having to request your holiday pay).

We have a lovely friendly team, and we're really serious about creating a safe and welcoming place to work as much as to visit - our students tell us that they love working here.  We listen to feedback too- we know that some students prefer shorter shifts and maybe only one a week, so we can accommodate there too.
