To provide Academic Reps with support and improve the SU’s ability to represent students across the University. This could include:
- Facilitating student leadership within the Academic Rep system, working with our team to provide tools and training to achieve a fully student-led system
- Improving our institutional knowledge of education issues, providing students with the resources to reimagine education at a course, institution, and sector level
- Enhancing the Academic Rep system in line with student views, improving the ability of students to form communities, work with Officers, and advocate for change
- Providing “front of house” support to Academic Reps, acting as a first point of contact within the Academic Rep system at meetings and via the Voice inbox
- Researching best-practice across the Higher Education sector, working with SU Bath and our partners in the sector to build a best-in-sector system at Bath
- Supporting Academic Reps on a full range of projects, from resolving course–specific concerns to projects around sustainability, liberation, and student rights
- Working with Officers to identify trends and escalate issues within your faculty and university, ensuring the Union can respond effectively to student concerns

- Enjoy thinking creatively and coming up with new ideas
- Have an interest in The SU and the student experience

Location: This role will mostly be based in 1 East (Claverton Down campus) or other locations on campus. There may be the option to work from home for specific tasks (by prior agreement from line manager).
