We work with schools and colleges across the UK and around the world. We offer a broad portfolio of initiatives which are delivered online and in-person (on campus and in schools/colleges).
A large focus of our work is with schools and colleges in the UK that have high numbers of pupils who meet our widening participation criteria, are underrepresented, and/or live in areas of relative deprivation or where participation in HE is low.
Outreach Ambassadors act as a role model to students to help support their self-esteem, motivation and confidence to access HE.
You will be able to sign up to work on the different events, activities and programmes that we deliver, as the opportunities become available. There’s a lot of flexibility – in the types of work opportunities available, and when you choose to work.
Work Opportunities can include

- Promoting the university to prospective UG students via a range of social media channels. Key social media channels include Facebook, X and Instagram.
(N.B This will vary depending on the type of event you are working on)
Types of events you could apply to work on
- Campus visit days (school years 5 –13)
- Residential Summer Schools, such as Discover Bath, Pathway to Bath and Step into Bath

(N.B This is not an exhaustive list)
How will working for us benefit you?
- Paid work which you can fit flexibly around your studies. You can choose the type of work you do (e.g. in person or online).
- Work Experience to enhance your CV i.e. working with children and young people, leadership opportunities, public speaking, presentation skills, coaching and mentoring experience, etc.
