Our sessions are varied in make-up, containing some combination of Fitness, Technique work, and light contact sparring, so come along to all and see which suit you best! Most of our sessions are held on campus, with a few held in Sulis, the University Boxing Gym, which is a 20-minute walk away, or a quick hop on the U2.
They are either taken by one of our fantastic accredited coaches or one of our three captains. Using their combined years of experience you’ll always get something from attending any one of these sessions, from complete beginners all the way up to those working for their black belt.

Monday 7pm-9pm: Sulis- Advanced Session - Currently suspended to due sulis being out of action
This session is designed for more experiecne fighters with more of a focus on sparring. This is sign-up only, and please only sign up if you have sparring experience.
Monday 6pm-7pm: Founders Hall
Our Monday Night fitness sessions are BACK!! These focus on getting fighting fit, with a combination of bodyweight exercises and high-intensity movements, and are designed to improve your cardio endurance, especially over the 2-3 minute rounds we typically compete over.
Tuesdays 7pm-9pm: Founders Hall
This is our biggest session of the week, and everyone is welcome. Led by professional coach and 6th Degree Black Belt Mr Rob “The Badger” Tettmar, we’ll run pad work, fitness, flexibility stretching, sparring, and anything else people want to work on.
Wednesdays 1pm-4pm: Sulis - Team only - Currently suspended to due sulis being out of action
Invitation only for our squad members representing the club around the country, the captains will be leading advanced sparring techniques and competitive combinations. Trials for this session to be announced soon!
Thursdays 7pm-9pm: Sulis - Sign up only - Currently suspended to due sulis being out of action
In the university’s boxing gym, there’s a chance to hit heavy bags and train in the boxing ring as well as our regular training. This session is open to people of all abilities, as long as you want to train hard and are interested in sparring. It is also taken by Mr Tettmar. Due to limited capacity, this session is sign up only. Sign-ups occur on the facebook group every Wednesday.
Fridays 1:25pm-1:50pm: STV Hall Court One - KickFit
Open to all, this speedy session is desgined to be done in your lunch break with time to shower and change after. Concentrating on fitness, this sessions is good for all you busy folk who want to squeeze in a little more exercise.
Saturday 1.30pm-3.30pm: Dojo - Sanda
Sanda is a form of kickboxing also involving sweeps, leg kicks and takedowns, in a controlled and safe environment. Professional coach Scott leads people from being total beginners to wherever they’re aiming, from fighting fit to winning fight nights
Sunday 12pm-1:30pm: STV- Womens only
Taken by our women’s captain, this is an extra opportunity for women to work on their technique and fitness while having fun. All info for this and everything else for the women's session is on the Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/150839351704038/ !
Sunday 3pm-5pm: STV - Full Contact Style
This session is run by our full conact captain, Rich. Don't be put off by the name! This is just a different style of kickboxing and will contain usual mix of fitness, techniques and sparring.
