What We Do
KnitSoc is a society of craft enthusiasts, including knitters, crocheters, cross stitchers and more!
We meet weekly so members can work on their projects, learn new skills and meet like-minded people in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Bring along your current project to work on or come along to chat or get some help.
No experience is required. At the start of each semester, we'll help you learn how to knit, crochet or cross-stitch, guiding you into the world of wool! In our beginner classes we sell cheap kits with everything you need to start your craft of choice. Already a crafting pro? No problem! We also run more advanced workshops and provide friendly support for any knots you may find yourself in.
Plus it's not just knitting! Our members enjoy all forms of craft and there's usually someone willing to help you out with whatever craft you want to try.
So whatever your skill level, come along and give it a try!
