Belushi's X URB
October 31st saw URB takeover Belushi’s in Bath for an ultra spooky asylum themed event. With shots in syringes, daring decor and the best of student DJs, it truly was a night to remember.
The night began with URB’s head of DJs, DJ Marlon, warming up the decks and starting the night off on a high. No matter what the genre, from techno to pop, it was clear that every one of the DJs who took to the stage were slick and thoroughly enjoying the opportunity. The night closed with Bath DJing veteran and Station Manager Liam Bridge, who played out the night with some tunes that left the audience wanting more.
Given the date, there were of course some fantastic Halloween outfits on display throughout. As the bar filled up, there were many skeletons, plenty of zombies and two Mexican sombreros to be seen amongst the audience. The student deals that Belushi’s have to offer were no doubt taken full advantage of, making sure everyone’s needs were met regardless of whether or not the bar was the final destination of the night.
Overall, as the first big off-campus URB event of the year, the evening was truly enjoyable and signalled a strong start for URB for the upcoming year!
