SEOTY

Your student staff should be an asset to running your area - from suggesting new ways of working, to holding the fort when you are out. Please nominate them now for Student Employee of the Year. This national competition celebrates the impact student workers can have on your business. It gives the student a massive boost to know that their hard work has been recognised, and may even lead to them nominating you for the Employer of the Year Award! For further information including the nomination form please go to:
http://nases.org.uk/seoty2012 or call in to JobLink and we can help you put your nomination together.

Active Kid Vouchers

Some of you may know, most probably don't, that I'm a guide leader in my spare time (spare time - ha!). I help at a unit based in Ascension Church in Oldfield Park. Can I ask very very nicely if you wouldn't mind collecting any active kids vouchers you get offered from Sainsburys and passing them onto me for the benefit of my guides?
We can use them to get boring but practical things like kitchen equipment and water carriers as well as a whole host of fun exciting things to play with. I will steal one of Matts graze boxes and put it in the staff kitchen to act as a collection box! Thank you very much! - Naomi

Get to know you

Camela Lear

What is your favourit film?  Bridesmaids, yes I know that's sad and a typical girls film but it really makes me laugh when I need it.

What is your favourite book? Haven't read for ages, that's really bad, so holiday times let see if I can read a few books at the beach, any ideas!

Where in the world would you most like to visit? Tahiti and Bora Bora the Islands of French Polynesia just magical, beautiful and relaxing.

What did you want to be when you were younger? Don't laugh an Air Hostess, yes the Dolly Trolley Lady. Maybe I could get a trolley here and do the tea rounds!

One funny fact about you?  My mum asked me to play with my little brother who was crying, he was about 1yr old I was 3, we were in the garden I tried everything to amuse him, stop him from crying, nothing worked. I then had a bright idea, he likes parsley so I stuffed his mouth with it, he stopped crying. Mum went mad, you can guess the rest.

2.) Assuming that you are paying, is it cheaper to take one friend to the movies twice, or two friends to the movie at the same time? (It doesn't depend on how much popcorn they eat?

3.) A well known fashion designer wanted to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city. She decided to spend a few days at a rural resort, Feeling like some fresh air after a day of reading and relaxing she decided to go for a winter stroll. That was the last time anyone saw her alive. The autopsy revealed that her death was due to the pack she had on her back. What was so deadly about this pack?
