We are delighted to announce that The University of Bath Students' Union has achieved a national Gold Award for providing our members with an excellent student experience.
We are one of only four students' unions across the country to achieve GOLD, awarded by Student Union Evaluation Initiative (SUEI). Working in partnership with the National Union of Students and supported by the Department of Innovation, Universities and Skills, the Student Union Evaluation Initiative judges against criteria including how unions engage, represent and support students, as well as the overall management of the organisation.
The Students' Union President David Howells said: "We are absolutely thrilled to get this award and it encourages us to keep moving forward with innovative and inspirational ways of supporting and representing our students."
Chief Executive Ian Robinson said: "This prestigious award is a reflection of the dedication and commitment of the Union's staff and students who provide such excellent service and advice to our 14,000 members. We are all very proud to have been recognised for the hard work we do representing students and helping them get the most out of their time at University."
This year The University of Bath Students' Union also achieved two Gold Best Bar None Awards (for our bar and club) and a Gold Green Impact Award.
