Industrial Placements for 2010
We offer two industrial placements in Consulting -- only available to Bath students. This opportunity is great as they successful candidates are part of the wider graduate recruitment programme, which includes two months of training and pay is 85% of the graduate starting salary. This is on a first come first served basis --so the early bird catches the worm here I'm afraid!

Deloitte Business Competition

As Deloitte is the professional services sponsor of the 2012 Olympic Games, this can't go without a mention! Students are invited to write 2,012 words about how to measure the success of the games. Finalists will come to London for a tour of the Olympic Park and present their response to a panel of judges led by Lord Coe. The wining prize is a trip to the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games and two weeks of paid work experience in the London 2012 sponsorship team at Deloitte.

Top Technology Talent
There is a competition running to raise awareness of Deloitte's technology practice. Students pitch their technology ideas first by text and then developing them further. Successful participants present their ideas to a board of judges from industry and senior Deloitte practitioners (one of whom will be the Vice Chairman of Deloitte). The prize is £1,000 or 4 weeks paid work placement, so a great opportunity. This runs in parallel with the University of Bath's Business Plan Competition run through BANTER.

Graduate Recruitment

This is the big one. We are recruiting 1,000 graduates this year. Places are on a first come first served basis and much more information can be found on the
Deloitte Graduates' Opportunities website. There are numerous awards for this, including number 2 in the Top Graduate Employers, best in market by the Management Consultancy Association, one of the Top 50 businesses Where Women Want to Work, Winner of the Platinum Management Consultancy Award and Accountancy Age Employer of the Year.
Putting something back
As well as being one of the largest charitable givers in country, we give more than any other member of the Big Four. We have provided opportunities for more than 3,000 Deloitte people to get involved in our
Community Investment programme. This has been recognised by Business in the Community -- which awarded us its platinum rating - and the London Education Partnership -- which recognised us as their Employer of the Year. Race for Opportunity has also short-listed us for two awards.
