Bath to Bristol Heart City Walk 2014

Brassmill Lane Trading Estate, Bath - St Philips Rd/ Trinity Street junction, Bristol

This event is a 14.5 mile sponsored walk along the Bath to Bristol Railway Cycle Path. There will also be the opportunity to complete shorter stages of the full distance. The walk will begin at the Brassmill Lane access point in Bath and will continue along the cycle path to Bristol.

A map of the route will be provided for walkers. The Bristol and Bath Railway Path is a 14 mile off road between the cities of Bath and Bristol and constructed on a former railway bed. It is a commuting route, an attractive leisure path and an important wildlife corridor. The traffic free route is used by pedestrians and cyclists and is home to fine artwork from local artists as well as stunning views of the Avon countryside, with plenty of posts along the way to guide you. All walkers will receive a medal for taking part. All walkers will be entered into a free prize draw to win a stay at The Bristol Hotel.

£10 per adult, £5 per child

Event start 10:00 am

Event finish approx 4:00 pm

The walk will be raising funds for the British Heart Foundation’s Mending Broken Hearts Appeal.
