Open to doctoral students who would like to learn how to engage older people with research. You’ll be given the challenge of devising and delivering a short (5 – 10 minute) presentation about your research, about why it matters and its (potential) impact, to a group of older people. You’ll need to choose an object either associated with, or that encapsulates, your research and present this as a ‘hook’ for your talk. You’ll present your object and research to the Age UK B&NES Culture Club at St John’s Hospital Meeting Room.
