Research Objects - PhD Research Showcase with V-Team /Age UK (31 Jan)

Open to doctoral students who would like to learn how to engage older people with research. You’ll be given the challenge of devising and delivering a short (5 – 10 minute) presentation about your research, about why it matters and its (potential) impact, to a group of older people. You’ll need to choose an object either associated with, or that encapsulates, your research and present this as a ‘hook’ for your talk. You’ll present your object and research to the Age UK B&NES Culture Club at St John’s Hospital Meeting Room.

Benefits to self - Research Objects offers the opportunity to present your research to an audience of older people (Bath residents). It's a great chance to practice presentation skills gain invaluable feedback which may help with your research.
