SU Staff Furloughed

Some members of SU Staff have been or will be furloughed. However, rest assured The SU is still here for you!

A number of SU Staff across the organisation have been or will be furloughed over the next few weeks until the 31 May. We are working hard to ensure this has limited impact on you and that key support services remain available.

SU Advice and Support – The SU Advice & Support Centre is operating remotely with a full team. Contact suadvice@bath.ac.uk & we can speak with you over email and video or audio call via Microsoft Teams or Zoom. Our opening hours remain as 10:00 – 16:00, Monday – Friday.

SU Marketing and Communications – Working as normal, main enquiries to be directed to sumarketing@bath.ac.uk or suweb@bath.ac.uk

SU Finance Office – The SU Finance team is significantly reduced. There will be no counter service available and no National Express tickets. Please direct all messaging to sufinance@bath.ac.uk but please be patient as we will take slightly longer than normal to respond.

SU Sport  -  SU Sport are now working with a skeleton staff structure.  Due to this only essential and urgent actions will be prioritised. Please continue to send essential and urgent actions to subathsport@bath.ac.uk and we will action accordingly. All other work actions will be held and actioned from the 1st June onwards.

Volunteering – SU Volunteering are now working with a skeleton staff structure. Due to this only essential and urgent actions will be prioritised. Societies: The Societies Coordinator will be working until the end of Friday 17 April. As from Monday 20 April the area will be working with a skeleton staff structure. Due to this only essential and urgent actions will be prioritised. Please send essential and urgent actions (from the 20 April) to A.Boneham@bath.ac.uk and we will action accordingly. All other work actions will be held and actioned from the 1 June onwards.

Peer Support – Although some team members have been furloughed Peer Assisted Learning sessions will continue to run online where possible. Peer Mentors will also be available online if mentees need support. PeerSupport@bath.ac.uk and SU-Training@bath.ac.uk will be monitored regularly if students have any questions.

SU Bars and Events – There are currently no staff in the SU Bars and Ents team. If you do have a bars related query, please direct it to thesu@bath.ac.uk.

Postgraduate students and the Postgraduate Association (PGA) - The SU continues to run engagement events and online social activities via two Teams on Microsoft Teams. PGT Community join using code k0o7w3e Doctoral Community join using code 1in95kd. All queries relating to the postgraduate student experience should be directed to postgrads@bath.ac.uk which is being monitored by a member of the Voice Team and the Postgraduate Officer.

International students and the International Student Association (ISA) - The SU continues to run engagement events via Microsoft Teams. International Student Community join using code rnk0gt1. All queries relating to the international student experience should be directed to suinternational@bath.ac.uk which is being monitored by a member of the Voice Team and the Community Officer.

Academic Representation - Academic Representation support will remain in place for Undergrad, Postgraduate Taught and Doctoral Students. The Academic Representation Team are avalible to answer queries regarding Academic Representation and supporting Reps in their roles, to contact the team please email academicreps@bath.ac.uk. Transport - The Transport Office is closed and no vehicles are available for any reason. For queries, email sutransport@bath.ac.uk
