Get in the festival spirit!
Get outside, raise your spirits, get moving and connect with others while supporting festive community activities this summer. From wristbanding, to helping with workshops and advising visitors, summer events are a great way to get involved and use your people skills, all the while enjoying the atmosphere of the event itself!
Get the festival feels by volunteering as a Festival Team Member at Bath’s debut Americana Fest happening on your doorstep. It’s a mix of music, comedy and food for the whole family with a cool American flavour, set in our amazing grounds with views over the Limpley Stoke Valley. We’re looking for warm and friendly people to do 2 x 4-hour shifts over the weekend. In return, you get to enjoy the rest of the festival day for free. Shifts will be: Friday 1 July: 16:30-20:30 or 20:00-23.59 Saturday 2 July: 11:30-15:30 or 15:30-19:30 or 19:30- 23.30 Sunday 3 July: 11:30-15:30 or 15:30-19:30 or 19:30- 23.30 The role will include checking admission tickets, handing out wristbands, stewarding around the site, wayfinding, litter picking and more. There will be 2-hour induction slots on Tuesday 28 June and Wednesday 29 June.

The Bath Carnival takes place on Saturday 9th July and will be an explosion of colour, a truly inclusive free party, designed and delivered for the people, by the people. Sign up for a 3 hour volunteer shift and help make the Party in the Park and Carnival procession our best ever! Details available on the Volunteering Opportunities webpage
Festival Writsbanding Volunteer
Support the wristbanding team helping people coming in to the festival grounds. Most shifts will allow volunteers time off to watch the headliners at each festival!

Volunteer at Top UK Festivals & donate to RAG with My Cause Some benefits of volunteering for festivals with My Cause: you can volunteer with your friends so you don't have to be on different timetables and can enjoy the festival together, shifts are maximum 6hrs long and only in the daytime and they will donate £30 to a charity of choice per person once your shifts are completed , you can select RAG as your charity of choice and support the Big 4! Improve your wellbeing
There are lots of ways that volunteering helps to improve the wellbeing of others as well as ourselves. Unwind, re-set and get back to nature with some mindful volunteering, such as gardening. Or why not join the buzz of an active event and be on the marshal team at a running fundraiser.
A more nature rich Brickfields Park - Weekly volunteering
Join us for weekly volunteer sessions in Brickfields Park to help improve the park's biodiversity. Tasks will range from and woodland maintenance to enhance the park's habitats for nature, litter picking and habitat creation.

Bath Race for Life Volunteer (Sun 3rd July 2022)
Help set up and run the Bath Race for Life on Sunday 3rd July 2022 by setting up the event, supporting our racers around the course, or handing out medals at the finish line.

FACES (Families of Autistic Children) Volunteers (Weds 22nd June 2022)
* One off session on 22nd June 2022 from 5.30pm until 8pm at Percy Community Centre, New King Street Bath - near Sainsbury's Green Park *
Help run a craft and sports activities session, with refreshments, for parents and children living with autism. Volunteers will have the opportunity to interact with carers and young people whilst supporting them with the activities, and learn about what it is like to live with a person on the autistic spectrum.
