Bath University Politics Society is the society for any student with a keen interest in politics. The core of our membership is drawn from students on politics courses, although we're keen to expand our membership and attract more students so don’t be shy! Our aim is to promote political discussion and engagement from all students, while meeting some fun new people along the way.

Follow our Facebook and Instagram pages where all of our events, trips, and socials will be advertised.

Socials: We organise social events and nights out in Bath roughly every fortnight so you can get to know more people on your course easily, or just make new friends with the same interests as you!

External Speaker Events: We also host interesting speakers to give talks to engage students on a variety of topics. In the past we have organised talks with former Minister Vince Cable, former Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg and Jacob Rees-Mogg. Please join the society if you think you would be interested in hearing these sorts of talks!

ISB Trip: This society is one of the few societies that organises trips across Europe during the inter-semester break. The society has gone to Brussels, Prague, Berlin and Budapest to name a few! This year we are planning to go to Amsterdam!

The goal of this society is to create a space for interesting dialogues and enjoyable socials/activities. Any advice on how to achieve this as well as general questions about the society please get in touch with any of our committee members at
