The role of an IT/Web Coordinator includes ensuring that all information on the web pages within their area are up-to-date and comply with current Students’ Union and University policy. They should also ensure that relevant events are widely publicized online and in poster/flyer format (where appropriate), as well as supporting the maintenance of web pages including links to respective Union/University web pages.

This role offers the opportunity to both ensure a high standard of communication for an area of interest, and to develop publicity skills and offer advice and support to members when required. It helps to develop website design skills, improve administrative skills and works to enhance your CV.

IT/Web Coordinators benefit from training via Skills Development, support through all SU areas and detailed handover training.
