This self-paced course is an introduction to the basics of creating functions and formulae in Excel – Microsoft’s spreadsheet application.
The real benefit of Excel lies in its ability to perform calculations. Excel processes numbers with formulae that are used to perform calculations. Formulae can perform simple tasks such as adding up a few cells or more complex operations. In addition, Excel also contains several hundred pre-programmed formulae for performing a variety of different types of calculations.
At the end of this trainer-facilitated session you will be able to:
- Create and edit formulae
- Use AutoSum
- Understand relative and absolute referencing
- Use the Formulas tab
- Create Range Names and use them in formulae
- Insert functions in Excel
