An Academic Skills Centre Lunchtime Learning Session
Do you need ideas on how to do targeted reading that makes best use of your time?
Do you need to take all the ideas from your reading and organise them into a logical order?
By the end of this session, students will have:
• been asked to review and evaluate the efficacy of their current research practices
• considered processes for organising ideas (gained from reading) into a plan for writing
• seen examples of how sources (ie. borrowed material) might be integrated in a paragraph
This workshop is suitable for all students
All of the tutors for the Lunchtime Learning sessions are highly qualified and experienced academic skills and English language teachers who work closely with colleagues across the University in the development and delivery of courses, workshops and one-to-one support.
