What We Do
The University of Bath Water Polo Club, is more than just a sports club, here we play sport, have fun, develop our skills and make life long friends! The incredible facilities available to us on campus and the enthusiasm for teaching from our experienced players make us one of the best clubs in the south west.
We offer something for everyone! Competitive sport to fitness and social opportunities. All we ask is that you can swim confidently and are prepared to have fun! Even if you've never played water polo before, we'll teach you all the rules and skills you need to enjoy this incredible sport!
We currently have 2 men's teams and a women's team who compete at BUCS as well as taking part in a friendly league with other south west teams. This gives our players the match time to perfect their skills and improve the team work needed for success.
We also have weekly land training sessions run by our strength and conditioning coach, offering a new element to our club!
We pride ourselvess on being THE friendliest club on campus and our motto is #pololove.
If you don't want to take part in matches, but want to work on fitness and endurance and be a part of one of the most fun clubs at University, no problem! We accept members that simply want to come along to training or to our socials.
