Why join our society?

  • corny poems aside, if you are interested in poetry but don't like the pressures of formal events, this society is for you! we will have low-key sessions every week where anyone can come along and write poems, share poems, and we all collaborate to give eachother kind and thoughtful feedback :)
  • events outside of our weekly writing workshop (WWW) will include movie screenings, slam poetry nights, collaborations with other societies and fun get-togethers at cafes :)
  • even if you have zero experience reading poems and may just be a casual author, please join! you're exactly the kind of person we'd love to have at APS!
