Join us for a cosy and creative afternoon of crochet as we team up with Crochet & Knit Society to guide you through making your very own beanie! Come alone or with friends, this relaxed workshop is a great way to learn, connect, and unwind.

Hot drinks will be available throughout the session.

Schedule & Structure

  • This workshop runs from 12:00 to 15:00, with last entry at 13:30. It’s a relaxed format, however a ticket is needed 
  • You’re welcome to stay for as long or as little as you like
  • You’ll be guided through the process of crocheting a beanie, with support available throughout

Participation

  • There’s no pressure to speak or interact beyond what you’re comfortable with

People & Social Expectations

  • Members of the Crochet & Knit Society will be present to help guide attendees
  • We expect a calm and friendly environment with maximum 30 attendees

Sensory & Environment:

  • There will be overhead lighting, background music and general conversation, moderate volume but can get loud
  • There is no pressure to speak or share. The space may get busy, with up to 30 possible attendees. Tables will be set up for small groups
  • Hot drinks will be available
  • The Edge Art Studio is fully wheelchair accessible - use the lift on Level 0 and go to Level 2, the Art Studio is located 2 doors away from the lift, the door will be open

Sustainability

  • We encourage attendees to bring their own reusable cups for hot drinks
