Freedom 2026 is a student-led race run by Bath Challenge, taking place on Saturday 7 March 2026.
Participants compete in pairs. On the day, all pairs will be transported by coach to a mystery starting location, where the race begins. From there, teams must make their way back to Bath without spending money, using maps, using your phone, or arranging transport in advance. The challenge is about teamwork and of course your creativity! The race has optional challenges available along the route to earn points. The pair with the highest total points at the end of the day wins and claims all the prizes and the first Freedom Trophy! Sign up with your friend, with your society, or with whoever! May the best pair win.
Tickets:
• £30 per ticket (as a pair, please only purchase 1x £30 ticket, 1x ticket covers entry for both of you!)
• Ticket price covers the coach and event costs
• Once you purchase your ticket, each pair must fill in this registration form once >
Fundraising requirement:
• Each pair must raise a minimum of £200 to take part on race day
Freedom 2026 is a fundraiser for Student Minds, the UK’s student mental health charity. Student Minds works to improve student wellbeing by supporting students early, training peer leaders, and helping universities create healthier and more supportive environments. Mental health affects everyone on campus, and this event is one way Bath students can take action together.
