Spend a day exploring the famous ‘City of Dreaming Spires’. Oxford is known worldwide as home to one of the oldest universities in the world, the University of Oxford, and offers beautiful historical architecture as well as a variety of places to shop and dine.
In the morning you will be taken on a private guided tour around the city, which will show you all of Oxford’s highlights, including:
- The most famous Colleges
- Places where Harry Potter was filmed
- The Bodleian Library, one of the oldest libraries in Europe
- Other major Oxford City landmarks
In the afternoon you will be able to then continue to explore the city at your own leisure, whether that’s by continuing to visit more of the famous landmarks or making the most of Oxford’s shops and restaurants.
Oxford has been used as a filming location for loads of films and TV including Harry Potter, Wonka, Tolkein and many more. Don't forget to visit some of these sites and check out the beuatiful architecture and history that can be found all over the city.
