Join Bath Video Game Society (BVGS) for Sensory Friendly Gaming Night, a chill and quiet evening of casual and fun gaming. We'll be hosting several stations of casual games you can play, such as Minecraft, Roblox, Smash Bros, and many more! The event is on Sunday, the 28th of September, in room 1W 2.102. It starts at 4:30pm and ends at 7pm, but feel free to show up at any time.
The event is free to attend and open to all students - just turn up - you do not need a wristband to attend! However, please bring your student card with you to check in.
We will be having a meet-up point outside the library at 4:20 pm, and we'll go together to the room where the event will take place.
Important
We will have Switch stations set around the room for you to play any games together, but feel free to bring your own devices (laptops, tablets, phones, etc) to play anything you'd like. You can follow us on @bathvgs on Instagram or join our Discord to stay updated!
Accessibility Information
This is a low noise and relaxed event which will take place indoors. The room will be split into different groups for each multiplayer game we're facilitating, and each table will have a sign as to what game is being run there. We have a capacity for 60 people, but the room might get crowded. We will make sure the event stays low noise and lights are low, but in case it gets overstimulating, we have 1W 2.104 as an overflow room. Both rooms have wheelchair access. Committee members and SU Disability Action captains will be on hand to help with anything. There will be a captain outside the room at all times. Snacks will be available, contact us through our society e-mail or on any of our socials if you have any dietary requirements you want us to be aware of.
