Astrophotography with PhotoSoc

Ever tried to take a photo of the moon only to end up with a blurry smear? Astrophotography is difficult without the right equipment and expertise. Fortunately, SpaceSoc and PhotoSoc are partnering up to help you take some stunning photos of October's Supermoon! We will also be able to see Saturn, the C/2023 A3 Comet, Pleiades star cluster and Andromeda galaxy.

We'll meet up outside the SU at 18:30 before heading down to St John's Sports field. If you would like your photos to be featured in our stargazing gallery, then please send them to su-spacesoc@bath.ac.uk

Be sure to wear approrate shoes and clothing. Remember to buy a ticket or year pass to get hot chocolate!
