Crochet Coral Reef for Earth Day!

To raise awareness of coral reef bleaching, the Crochet and Knit Society has created a crochet coral reef for Earth Day! The art piece will be installed in the library for a month after Earth Day, and showcases a vibrant variety of sea creatures, as well as informational posters about coral reefs. The whole piece is made of secondhand wool and recycled materials such as yarn made from plastic bags! 

Take a break from the studying to come along, learn more about the phenomena in our oceans, and see some fantastic handicrafts too!
