University of Bath are looking for hourly paid workers to join their retail team in Fresh, with flexibility to cover shifts in Market, when required.

About You
Working in our stores means that you are the face of our lively campus outlets. At our Fresh and Market stores, we offer a wide range of choice for our customers and strive to deliver excellent customer service. We are therefore interested in hearing from students with some work experience within either retail or hospitality. Any supervisory / management experience in similar roles for the casual supervisor position would also be an advantage.
About The Roles
Casual Retail Assistant (10 vacancies) - you will be supporting customers with self-checkouts, replenishing stock efficiently on the shopfloor adhering to date rotation policies and tidying the store shelves to ensure they are well presented. A variety of short shifts are available across mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends to work around your studies and other commitments.
Casual Retail Supervisor (5 vacancies) - you will be supporting the team with opening or closing the store. Tasks will include; ensuring the store is safe to open, receiving and storing deliveries following food safety procedures, making sure shelves are full and tidied and locking up the store.You will be given additional training to be able to answer customer queries on allergens, complete basic refunds and deal with any other issues as they arise. This role will primarily be evenings and weekends, for example 4:15pm-9:15 pm weekdays, with longer shifts at the weekend. If applying for this role, previous supervisory experience will be preferred, but you will need some retail/hospitality experience.

Pay
We will offer good pay rates, see below:
Casual Retail assistant is paid £12.60 per hour (which is £14.12 p/h, inclusive of holiday pay).
Casual Retail Supervisor is paid £13.22 per hour (which is £14.82 p/h, inclusive of holiday pay)
Positions are on a casual basis and hours will therefore be flexible as and when required by the business, during store opening hours (08:00-21:00 Monday to Friday, 12:00-19:00 Saturday and 10:00-16:00 Sunday).
