Join our friendly Campus Services team this summer (June – September 2026)

When students leave in June and the University of Bath transforms into a giant hotel (welcoming summer schools, city visitors and conferences), we have over 100 summer positions to fill. Training is provided.

  • Hospitality front & back of house roles
  • Casual domestic assistant (cleaner) roles for our accommodation
  • Residence Life reception and office-based roles.

Job Details & Recruitment Event

To find out more about working a summer at University of Bath, you can join us in Claverton Rooms (opposite our campus library) for our summer recruitment event. It’s on Thursday 16 April (15:45pm-17:15pm). It’s a good chance to learn about our summer jobs, as some of the hiring teams will be there to answer questions.

Which role fits around your availability?

  • Casual Domestic cleaner – early June to late Sept (the team can still consider your application if you are only available for parts of the summer). These roles are ideal for those wishing to keep summer evenings free.
  • Hospitality roles – from 9 June to early August the team need commitment for a minimum of 3 shifts, 15 hours a week. These roles are ideal for those taking vacations in August. Reduced hours may also be available in August and late September but are not guaranteed.
  • Casual reception, reservation and events roles – early June to late Sept. Due to the level of training involved in these roles, the team will need your commitment to work from the first week in June until September.
  • Casual ResLife Ambassadors – September onwards.

Pay

From £13.45 an hour, which is £15.07 per hour inclusive of holiday pay.
