And the winners of the cracker challenge are.....

Congratulations to winner James Huelin and runner up Ross Booton

ReFresh week kicked off with a relaxed games day held in Elements over lunch time. However the atmosphere was anything but relaxed as the inaugural SU 'Cream Cracker Challenge' took place - just how fast can you eat 3 cream crackers?

Over 40 students competed in the challenge which produced varying results from over 3 and a half minutes to the cracker eating elite who peppered the 1 minute mark. However no-one go to close to the world record of 49.15 seconds. Never has the phrase "that's well easy, i'll give it a go" been so misplaced!

As debate raged over the best tactics for the challenge James Huelin threw the clipboard out the window, stuffed the crackers in his mouth and swallowed as fast as he could proving that 'just going for it' was the best tactic. He swallowed home in just 1 min 2.81 seconds. Coming in at 2nd best was 1st year Ross Booton who posted 1min 15.4 secs and who also receives 5 guest list spaces to the next Score or Flirt.

Thanks to all who took part, cheered or laughed at the competitors. Lets hope the rest of ReFresh week goes just as well.
