For the second walking day trip of the semester 21 BUMC members loaded into the MPVs and headed down to Ringwood in the New Forest. Absolutely nothing of note happened to the rear offside wheel arch of Anna's MPV on the drive down.

Following a slight delay the group set off in high spirits on a cool but clear day with great weather forecast all day. After a couple of hours of walking a clearing was found to take a lunch break, with a range of interesting meals eaten. In particular Emma had brought along some still frozen fried rice, while Theo was eating a whole saucisson (but with no knife to chop it up!).

As the group set off for the second half of the walk we came across a couple of deer gates that had definitely seen better days, taking a team of 4 to move each gate without (too much) damage. Following these gates Theo somehow ended up on the wrong side...

Having made it through the gates it was discovered that Fred no-longer had his phone! He set off to search for it and returned 45 minutes later only to discover it had been in his bag all along, hiding under a swiss roll...
After a fantastic day of walking we all settled in at High Corner Pub for a well deserved hot drink (or pint for some) before heading back to Bath.
Thanks everyone for coming along and making another trip great!
