Over 100 students competing and two teams being crowned national champions.
We’re so happy to share some amazing news from Bath Jets Cheerleading & Dance, who headed to the Legacy Alpha and Omega University National Championships on 14 March at the BP Pulse Live Arena and NEC in Birmingham and absolutely delivered.
More than 100 athletes made the trip, giving loads of members the chance to perform at one of the biggest university cheer and dance events in the country, with thousands of people watching. The atmosphere was huge, and our teams really rose to it.

Cyclone and Typhoon both took home national titles in divisions packed with tough competition, including teams from the University of Exeter, Loughborough University, the University of Edinburgh and the University of Warwick. Throughout the day, teams were featured on Legacy’s official social media, thanks to the energy and support everyone showed while cheering each other on. Judges also had loads of good things to say, calling out the teams’ confidence, energy, enthusiasm, technique, execution and difficulty.
Even better, more friends and family travelled to support than usual, creating an amazing atmosphere and getting even more people excited about the world of university cheerleading.
Massive congrats to everyone involved, such a strong set of performances and an incredible showing from the athletes.
