We are pleased to share that The SU Freshers’ Week Impact Report 2025 is now live.
The report showcases key moments from the week, drawing on student feedback, participation data and testimonials from our student leaders to reflect on the vibrant start to the year and the strong sense of belonging that students felt as they settled into university life. Freshers’ Week is many students' introduction to The SU, so it was positive to see so many new students engaging with our events and activities.
Freshers’ Week 2025 saw thousands of students taking part in events, from making connections at our Mixers and trying new things at our “Give it a go” sessions, through to attending our Fairs and Arena nights! Student voice sits at the heart of this report, offering valuable insight into what made the week memorable and how we can continue to shape the Freshers’ Week offer in the future.
We are incredibly proud of the collective efforts that helped shape a meaningful and engaging welcome for our new students.
