We are the Society that caters for all the needs of a Chemical Engineering Student at the University of Bath. 

The Chemical Engineering Student Association (CESA) aims to improve all chemical engineering students' uni experiences through the various social, sporting and industrial events we organize throughout the year.

Our socials are the perfect opportunity to get to know your course-mates outside of academics and network with students from other years too. We organize talks with industry professionals and site visits in order to increase sustainability awareness amongst students, in preparation for the world of work after university.

We want to provide a safe and approachable environment so that you all feel there is support from us if you face any issues during your time at Bath. 

So... What do we have to offer?

• We will be hosting our inaugural event... the white t-shirt social for first year students. 
• The most memorable event is always Frank Morton Sports Day on the second week of february, the annual chemical engineering sports day attended by universities across the UK. It includes sports from basketball, football, hockey all the way to laser tag and rounders. Yes, rounders. The day starts with a careers fair, before all students make way to the various pitches and ball courts to battle it out against other ChemEng departments for the Frank Morton trophy, before ending the day with a rave.
• We are excited to announce we will be releasing CESA merchandise for the first time; so keep your eyes peeled for that!
• CESA also includes a sustainability faction, the Chemical Engineering Sustainability Group (CESG), who are hoping to organise events such as workshops on how to eat and cook more sustainbly as a student and more to help make Bath a more environmentally friendly place.
• We have many more plans in the works for social events as well as ones that will help further your career path like site visits and career days- so keep checking the page for the latest info.
