Here at The SU Bath, we have two fantastic spaces, The Plug Bar and The Tub Nightclub available for exclusive hire from Summer 2026.

Whether you’re planning a birthday party, corporate gathering, celebration, or private function, our venues offer professional facilities, friendly staff, and an unbeatable campus location at the top of Bathwick Hill.

Due to safety restrictions on our campus, we are unable to host:

  • School prom events
  • 18th Birthday Parties

Booking Availability

Venue hire is open June to mid-September including weekends. We have limited availability outside of this period but please enquire for more information.

The Plug Bar is a relaxed, social venue ideal for smaller gatherings, networking events, or laidback celebrations. For up to 500 people.

  • Screens for presentations

  • Full bar facilities
  • Access to pool tables, air hockey, darts and retro arcade games.
  • License to screen Sky Sports and terrestrial sports screenings

Every booking comes with access to high-quality facilities and support including:

  • Access to sound system, venue lighting and staging.
  • Large screens & projector
  • Pay-to-play games – pool, air hockey, darts and retro arcade games
  • 1 bar staff member per 50 guests
  • Bar food or recommended external caterers. We cannot provide banquet-style dining.

Standard Hire Package — £250 incl VAT

Includes:

  • 4 hour hire plus 2 hours set up time
  • Hire of The Plug Bar or The Tub Nightclub space.

  • Sound system
  • Access to pay-per-play games
  • Access to projector screens

Full Hire Package – Plug & Tub – £400

Includes all the above and access to both spaces and our pay-to-play games.

The Tub Nightclub is a high-energy, contemporary nightclub perfect for large-scale events and parties. For up to 500 people

  • Professional lighting & sound system
  • DJ booth and staging
  • Screens & projector setup
  • Full bar facilities
  • Security provision if required
  • Spacious, open-plan dancefloor

Every booking comes with access to high-quality facilities and support including:

  • Access to sound system, venue lighting and staging.
  • Large screens & projector
  • Pay-to-play games – pool, air hockey, darts and retro arcade games
  • 1 bar staff member per 50 guests
  • Bar food or recommended external caterers. We cannot provide banquet-style dining.
