What is Mixology Soc?
Would you like to work in a bar? Make drinks for your friends? Do you just like mixing stuff? Mixology society is for you! We’re here to mix drinks and make friends, with an emphasis on social events. Drinking is optional, a positive attitude is a must.
What We Do:
This society if for anyone looking to make cocktails, mocktails, or friends. We plan to host regular events where you will meet people and learn to make different kinds of drinks. We want to have a wide variety of socials, and collaborate with local bars and other venues.
Mixology Soc on Drinking:
You might think that mixology is all about alcoholic beverages, but that isn’t always the case. We believe that both cocktails and mocktails give an equal opportunity for fun and creativity. Alcohol consumption is far from an essential part of mixology, or this society. Multiple committee members are non-drinkers and all of committee are dedicated to making mixology society a safe space where nobody will be pressured into drinking.
If you do partake in alcohol, we are happy to facilitate, but encourage all our members to be safe and responsible with how they drink. We will make every effort to ensure the wellbeing of all our members.
