Politics in the UK grows ever more stale. We all know that change is needed, but the carousel of neo-liberal parties in power are unwilling to do anything about it. Economic stagnation, increasing inequality, and a climate crisis coming far sooner than expected. Things have to change.

The Green Party of England and Wales is a clear break from that miasma of capitalistic decay, taking a stand against the machine of greed and hate. They offer bold solutions to the many crises facing us today – from the climate emergency to ever-growing disparity of wealth.

There is hope, but we need you!

Bath University Green Party represents the Green movement on campus through education, discussion, collaboration and action. We will provide opportunities to learn and debate matters of policy, to get involved in local politics and to continue the Green ethos through community efforts.

We believe in democratic principles and member-led action, so this society’s direction is up to YOU. Join today to realise your vision for a greener, fairer future!

Get involved via:

<> Mutual Aid <>

As a society we work towards building a new world based on equal collaboration and solidarity, as such we partake in mutual aid. For us this involves showing up for our friends and comrades when they are in need, providing food at minimal cost as a part of our food Co-op, and hosting lecturers to improve the understanding of our student community.

<> Learning <>

As a group of students we take part in reading groups, attend conferences to gain knowledge including ‘People and Planet Powershift’, ‘Radical Routes Gatherings’ and more. Whenever there is an event, and you want us to come with you, we’ll be there!

<> Campaigning <>

As activists and people with conscience, we work to better our university, our party, and planet. This involves both directly running campaigns on campus, and supporting other groups through events like ‘Solidarity Night’.
