Welcome to Bath Pub Society!
Our society was created to ensure everyone has the space and opportunity to meet new people and visit great local events, all whilst exploring the heart of this great city through it's historic and lively pubs.
We created this society as Ash and Daniel love going to pubs together, but it got to a point where we ran out of conversation as we would go so often. At that point, we thought it might be best to get some new faces in our pub trips, and so came Pub Society.
We're a brand new SU affiliated society for this year, so it's the perfect time to join! Membership is completely free, and being a member we can offer:
- weekly trips to pubs
- montly socials and games
- full recomendations for drinks (incl. non alcoholic) from around the city
- masterclasses in pubbing and cocktail making
- up to date information on local events in bath
- special discounts and perks for certain pubs
If you're a Fresher, this is the best place to meet people outside of your bubble. And if you're a returning student, this is the best place to meet even more people! We are an inclusive and accessible society, and offer full wellbeing support and advice with situations related to alcholol. there is never any pressure to drink, and we are vocal on the SU's policiies relating to alcholol and subtances. We have dedicated training for committee members to keep everyone safe and comfortable, and any grievances we are more than happy to listen to it all.
