Hey again!

It's Benji and Izzy your SU President and Community Officer / Your favourite officer duo! Since we match our fits almost everyday we thought we’d bring you another collab.

We’ve been asked by the University to consult students on the future of 6 West South. If you’ve ever walked through it, you’ll know it’s not exactly the most inviting space. It’s underused, a bit awkward, and doesn’t really reflect what students need or want from a shared campus space.

So, we’re starting a conversation. We want to turn 6WS into something better, a space that works for you. Somewhere you can chill, collaborate, meet friends, or just take a breather between lectures.

Fresh off our trip to Irish SUs, we have brought back so many new ideas and inspiration we want to see here at Bath. Their third spaces particularly stood out to us. What is a third space you might be asking? Not home, not lecture halls, but something in between. These are student-led, flexible, and genuinely useful. That’s the kind of thinking we want to bring to campus. Student owned spaces.

We don’t want to guess what you want. We’re here to listen. Over the next few days, we’ll be gathering feedback through Instagram polls, in person feedback at Happy Hour on Friday and via email. Whether you care about design, accessibility, sustainability, or just want a better sofa, we want your input.
