What We Do

Bath University Bioscience Society (or BUBS for short) exists to enrich the experience of students at the University of Bath with an interest in bioscience, and particularly those studying in the Department of Biology and Biochemistry (including Biomedical Sciences).

We aim to do this by hosting socials and academic events which allow members to meet similar-minded people in a welcoming atmosphere. We also promote student book sales and information evenings for module options, placement years, and career possibilities.

Reasons To Join Us

Being part of your departmental society is the best way to meet people on your course and to get to know them! This year, we'll have some crazy socials, as well as some more course-related events going on!

  • A great way to make friends
  • Meet people with similar interests
  • Discounted socials
  • Academic events and support

The Biology Society also have a football team which plays in the first division of the inter-departmental football league, and new members are always welcome!
