What We Do

We are the Bath University Guides and Scouts (BUGS), a friendly and active society open to any student at the university, whether you have been a Guide or Scout before or not!

It’s hard to describe what our society does, because we do so much! But, in essence, we focus on:

  • Adventurous Activities (including hiking, boating, climbing, and fire-lighting)

  • Fun and Games

  • Skills Building (including crafts and baking)

  • Volunteering (with Scouts and Guides)

  • Camping

  • SSAGO Rallies (big events with similar clubs across the country)

So, if some or all of this appeals to you, give us a try! It’s only £5 to join for the year, and after that many of our activities are free!

For more information, check out Our Programme, and join our Facebook Group.
