Drug and Alcohol Support

We're not experts in drug or alcohol support, so that's why we've partnered up with our friends from Developing Health and Independence (DHI) in Bath.

Every Thursday experts from the DHI Team come up to campus to offer free and confidential advice to anyone who wants to talk about drugs or alcohol. You can find them in the SU building between 13:00-14:30.

You don't need to book and can ask them anything, including:

You don't have to talk to the DHI Team on campus either. They have a drop-in office on St James Parade in town (40mins walk from campus) and offer 1:1 by phone (01225 329411). Email TheBeehive@dhibath.org.uk for more information.

Here's the link to the DHI website which explains all the services they offer: Bath & North East Somerset Drug and Alcohol Service | DHI (dhi-online.org.uk)

If you'd like to understand more about how the University respond to misconduct involving alcohol and drugs, you should follow this link to read the University Disciplinary Regulation 7 and this link to the summary of University of Bath: Misconduct Made Clear.

If you're curious to know more about the University response, or you are involved in disciplinary involving alcohol or drugs, you can ask an SU Advisor for confidential advice and support through the process.

The SU Bath does not condone the possession, use or supply of illegal drugs. You can find out more about our committment to reducing the harm caused by drugs on this link.
