The fellowship will consist of weekly readings and discussions, followed by a project and a big celebration at the end! You will receive a certificate too to put on your LinkedIn!

About Us
The Effective Altruism (EA) Society at the University of Bath is dedicated to helping students make a meaningful impact on the world. We focus on using evidence and careful reasoning to identify the most effective ways to do good and take action based on these insights. As part of a global movement, we aim to foster a community where students can explore how to maximize their positive impact, both during their time at university and in their future careers.
Our club offers career planning resources, an introduction fellowship program, and regular social events. Through these activities, we provide opportunities for members to learn about high-impact career paths, engage in thought-provoking discussions, and connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for making the world a better place.
Our initiatives:
Path to Impact Fellowship: An introduction to key concepts in Effective Altruism, equipping you with the knowledge and skills necessary to apply these principles in your life and career.
Social Events: Because we're not altruistic machines! A community is vital for helping each other feel good doing good and besides quiz nights, also provides opportunities to connect and share ideas.
Coworking: If you ever need accountability to do some work (EA work or Uni work!) please come along! We post when we are coworking on our WhatsApp! Also there might be free snacks available.
