Support those in need in the local community

We are hoping to collect as many items as possible to help vulnerable people in the community. Please bring any of the following items to collection points in the library foyer, outside the market and in the entrance to the STV. Thank you for your support.

  • Clothing
  • Sleeping bags
  • Kitchenware
  • Trainers/boots/shoes
  • Gloves
  • Hats
  • Thick socks
  • Men’s underwear (boxers) – small, medium and large (not XL)
  • Women’s underwear – sizes 8 to 12
  • Batteries AA and AAA
  • Torches – LED, battery and windup/rechargeable – all sizes
  • Wind up radios and battery operated
  • Thermos flasks (1 litre)
  • Travel mugs – non leaking!
  • Sweets
  • Chocolate
  • Cereal bars, energy bars (dairy and gluten free too)
  • Notebook and pencils
  • Razors
  • Spray deodorant
  • Wet wipes
  • Shampoo – normal, not miniatures
  • Shower gel
  • Toothpaste
  • Toothbrushes
  • Lip salve
  • Moisturising cream
  • Rucksacks or day sacks – 25/30l sizes
  • Dry bags
  • Dog food and treats
