Boardgames and Biscuits is a great opportunity to make new friends or deepen already forged friendships in an incredibly beginner friendly event! From the family classics of Pandemic and Codenames, to the deeper picks of Terraforming Mars and Dominion, our 80+ boardgame collection has something for everyone! Feel free to come alone as you’ll meet people in no-time or bring a buddy to share the fun! Tabletop Committee will be present throughout to help you ease in, provide any suggestions and to teach you any game you don’t understand. There will be different biscuits available, to suit the dietary needs of different individuals. Overall, this event is a great alcohol-free option for anyone wanting an entertaining gaming experience whilst also meeting new people.
This event is ticketed and open to ALL freshers. You do not need a ticket to attend! You will be required to check in upon arrival so please bring your student card with you.

Accessibility Information - What can I expect from this event?
This event will take place in the Edge Event Space. The event will be mildly busy so noise levels are undetermined. This is due to a potential capacity of students. For accessibility, the Tabletop Committee will be there to help anyone with any problems they may have, most expect an ability to see and fine hand motor skills, support will be on hand. The Edge has full wheelchair access as there are both steps and a ramp leading to the building entrance, complemented by double-width, automatic doors. The Edge space will have seating and tables to access the games. Accessible (and gender-neutral) toilet facilities are available within the building. You do not need any prior experience for this event.
